Okay, but what the heck is this “design thinking”?

Nowadays, design thinking is the ultimate buzzword. Everybody mentions it somewhere in their sentence whether they are familiar with it or not.

What does it mean, really?

Design thinking is a methodological approach not just to develop innovative products, but also to develop creative ideas for services and processes.

The motto for design thinking could be “do not be convinced with the first thing you see”. It requires searching for aspects not visible at first glance, pursuing alternative strategies, and calculating all possibilities. Meaning, this approach does not use common, stereotyped formulas, and does not expect these formulas to work.

Would it be possible to create different approaches in every field with design thinking? Considering almost all leading companies and universities of the world have already embraced this approach, absolutely!
